We now have open registration for our Nurse Residency Program from February 1 - February 15, 2020 for the Summer Term. Employment start dates are in June 2020 for the OR (Operating Room) and July 2020 for Acute Care areas with the Nurse Residency Program starting in August. Register Today Requirements Successful completion of an accredited BSN or MSN program Eligible for RN licensure in Texas or GN permit (issued with your authorization to test) Recommended Nursing GPA of 3.0 or greater (HMH Medical Center requirement is 3.2 or greater) Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital ONLY: For Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) graduates for the medical/surgical units only, qualification and continued employment are contingent upon active pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and acquiring the BSN degree within 3 years. In addition, please ensure that you have completed all the required elements in the registration process including uploading all required documents in the registration portal to be considered. If it is incomplete, your registration will not move forward. Registration will open on Monday, June 4 in the afternoon.
